I’m a sucker for solid color pairings and the design work by Colony on these cans does not disappoint. Developed for Spindrift and their new Spiked product line, Colony approached me with the tasks of creating some hero product shots along with a pouring animation that would need to play seamlessly on a solid white website background.

Along the way, I explored some different textural and color concepts. Stone and ice provided a sense of the warm/outdoor/refreshing vibe while color gradients added some depth and playfulness in line with the color found on the cans.

The resulting work provided Spindrift with the elements essential to the launch of their new product site and also provided Colony with case study assets to showcase their immense design efforts and considerations.
