With a product introduction as highly anticipated and regarded by Sonos, as well as its enthused customer base, not only was it important that the product be a thoroughly well designed piece of hardware, but that the packaging would also be a stand out part of the experience as well.

Built on the foundation of their recently revised standards and design language, the Packaging Experience team integrated first of its kind materials and construction methods for an elegant unboxing experience with a slim but significant structure and dramatic product reveal.

For the past three years, I have worked closely with the packaging team to capture, document, express, and showcase their efforts as they aimed for higher sustainability standards, created better unboxing experiences, submitted to (and won) design awards, and elevated the Sonos brand.
